Rodney has helped me with three tickets now…..with great results in all cases. The last one he managed to get $200.00 knocked of the fine PLUS saved me the two points that would have gone against me. Hopefully I won’t have much need for this service in the future….but I do highly recommend him to anyone who has that need!

I contacted Rodney with a traffic ticket that I got and he basically took over, successfully argued my case and get me off. As a retired Police Officer, he is an expert in his field and is very professional and trustworthy. If you feel that you have a case, don’t hesitate to work with Rodney.

Rodney ensured that the traffic offense was reduced to a point where there was no demerits against the drivers license involved and reduced to less than half of the original ticket. He also advised why the ticket was initially issued and explained how not to make the same mistake again. This offense was in regards to being in the diamond lane for too long before turning right.

I needed Rodney’s help when I got myself into a traffic ticket jam. Rodney was great and managed to get a reprimand in a situation that I will admit probably took all of his considerable talent to resolve.

Rodney’s expertise goes beyond just softening the blow of a ticket however. Rodney went over the circumstances of my offence and took pains to provide enough caution that it gives one pause to reflect on how I wound up needing his services in the first place.

Thank you for both Rodney!

Rodney has helped my company with our camera speeding tickets. He's a great resource to have for any company running a fleet of trucks that wants to cut down on speeding expenses.

You were so timely and always moved forward with a steady pace. The one thing that I will never forget is how you responded to one of my emails on Easter Sunday evening. I have yet to meet anyone else that is so committed.

Thank you again!

Tickets Or Fines, Questions Answered

Provided are a variety of common questions I receive.  The answers can be found by simply clicking the “+” sign to the right of the question. If you don’t see the question you were looking for please email or call me and I will be happy to help you out where I can.

1) I just got a traffic ticket, what do I do?

At the bottom of the ticket is the “due dates” or “respond dates”. You have to respond to the ticket between these dates.  Why these dates are somewhat in the future is it takes time for all of the data entering and the police officers information to be forwarded to the court. These are just initial respond dates when you have to choose to either pay the ticket, or let them know you are going to contest the ticket. If you do not respond by the end date, the court will “default convict” you and charge an additional $50 fee. So it is very important to respond between those dates. I offer free consultations. It is best to contact me as soon as you receive the ticket so that if you want to use my service I can diary date you ticket and take care of all the arrangements. That way there is no chance of you misplacing, losing or forgetting about it and ultimately being default convicted.

2) There is hardly any information on my ticket, it doesn’t even say where it happened, is the ticket valid?

The traffic ticket you received is a “formal charge” or information. It simply must lay out the offense that occurred, the proper date and time, your name, and the location. The location just has to be in the jurisdiction that it occurred, eg at or near “Winnipeg” or the “RM of Mcdonald”.  It does not have to say at “Portage and Donald”.

3) Should I say anything to the police or make an explanation?

It is usually best to be polite to the police and not make any explanations, as those explanations usually involve admitting guilt and may be used as evidence against you.

4) How best should I get intouch with you?

Both email and phone work great to get in touch with me, I respond to both. To reach me by phone simply call 204.997.3754 or fill out my simple contact form and you can email me.
