How do you avoid red light cameras in Winnipeg?

The best way is to be informed. I always like to keep everyone informed as much as possible, whether I am talking to them at a function, out for coffee or on my website and Facebook. The other day, while surfing the net I found this great article produced by CJOB’s Kim Lawson, here is a snippet about what she wrote:

Smile! Especially if you’re at Main Street and Logan Avenue.

680 CJOB has been crunching the numbers.
During the first six months of this year, more red light camera tickets were given out at that intersection than any other in the city. 1,535 to be exact.
Second on the list – Bishop Grandin at River Road. 1,395 tickets were given out there from January to June.
Further behind in third, fourth and fifth respectively are Kenaston Boulevard at Corydon Avenue (860), Grant Avenue at Wilton Street (856) and Portage Avenue and Mount Royal Road (804)….”

Thanks Kim and CJOB for doing a great job reporting.
